Overview

Volt is a mobile app that helps users manage their energy consumption and costs. It provides a simple and intuitive interface to track energy usage, set goals, and receive personalized recommendations to reduce energy consumption.

Problem

Energy consumption is a major contributor to climate change. The average American household spends $2,200 on energy each year. However, most people don’t know how much energy they use or how much it costs. They also don’t know how to reduce their energy consumption.

Solution

Volt is a mobile app that helps users manage their energy consumption and costs. It provides a simple and intuitive interface to track energy usage, set goals, and receive personalized recommendations to reduce energy consumption.

User Research

I conducted user research to understand the problem and identify potential solutions. I interviewed 10 people and conducted 2 usability tests. I also conducted a competitive analysis of similar apps.
